Costco=Our New Favorite Thing

All I can say is that Birmingham better have a Costco. We visited the phenomenal warehouse twice this weekend. Yesterday we got groceries and today we went back for a dog bed and some organic coffee. That;s our favorite thing about Costco, organic goods at reasonable prices. I will be the first to say that Travis and I are not much for trendy causes, but we have jumped on the organic bandwagon. Not only is it common sense that food with no preservatives is better for you, but you're supporting a family or small business as opposed to an insanely huge company. Anyways I thought our homage to Costco deserved it's own post. Here's some pics in case you want to give our favorite store a try.

Organic Animal Crackers-taste different then regular animal crackers which makes me wonder........

These are our new favorite snack, with organic salsa(below)

Mmmmmm.........

Ready for Vacay

We are so ready for the mountains. I'm ready for the summer! Sweet Home Alabama...... yea, we're pretty excited! Work is gooooooooooooiiiinnnnnnng on and on and on. Trust me, I'm not complaining. I know that a job at this point is a blessing in any shape and form. There are hundreds of teachers in Jville who would give an arm and leg for my job. Trav got a job also. He's working at AT&T by our house which is awesome because we get a great deal on our service. Ahhhh, I'm watching the news right now and they're saying that the windchill temps could take us down to 8'-15'. That's crazy. Anyway we'll let you know how things go at the new job.

Running and Running

Busy Busy Busy. Travis spent the night last night throwing up. I'll tell you what I could already use another weekend and it's not even Tuesday yet. Trav's feeling better (dron't worry). I'm really liking this blog thing. Trav spent a little time getting it set up more like I want it. He's going to do a header when he's not feeling so under the weather.
Work is so stressful right now and I already can't wait for the summer. I think tomorrow I'm going to start a running regiment for stress relief. I've also been enjoying looking at blogs. I didn't realize that blogging was such a phenomenon.
Anyway I'm rambling a little just so I can get the blogging thing down.

Blogging

Ok, so I'm determined to get this blogging thing down. I know it's going to take practice and I've decided this is a wonderful way to keep up with the people we can't talk to everyday. I also really enjoy reading others' blogs so ...... We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Yesterday we woke up and took the dogs on a long walk to Edgewood Bakery. I think that's the thing we love most about Avondale, being able to walk to so many cute places. I also read two books this weekend. One was by Rob Bell and was called "Velvet Elvis". I really liked the book and it made me think, but the verdict's still out on whether or not I agree with everything he said. I am NOT ready to go back to work tomorrow. Uhhhhhh, I've told Travis I refuse to take naps on weekends because I don't want to waste the hours I'm not at work. (Sad, I know) We have decided out BIG idea is to open an organic bakery. We were talking about how we want to work for eachother and we think this would be a fun endeavor, now all we have to find is that capitol.
